i was vacuuming out my car and saw the above at the top of the trash can beside the station. all this was in someone's vehicle!

i love comic type!

comic book lettering is so much more than comic sans.

behold... a study that i'm working on of the alphabet formed from pre-1980s marvel comic trade dress.

i think i'm going to redo this with actual photography.

also, i'm working on a DC version.

weekend funnies

i was having lunch with monica and she was excitedly talking about fixing up the house for when we eventually get married.

a little background info; the room off of my kitchen is currently a sitting room that was once a dining room.

there is a china cabinet built into the one corner that is currently used to store cds.

monica very much wants to turn this room back into a dining room, which is fine by me.

at lunch, she was talking about how beautiful her china is and how she can't wait to store it in said cabinet.

"you know," she said coyly, "that's where china goes."

"i know." i replied, "also, south of mongolia."


aaaahhhhh... what woman doesn't enjoy a little geography humor?
