pouty faces

when audrey and lauran were down over the break, audrey decided to pout over something in the chipotle.

i took her picture.

then i asked everyone else at the table to make an angry face.

how did we entertain ourselves before camera phones?

superbowl xviii

not the way i exactly was hoping to view the superbowl.

but since dad was in the hosptial (he's fine now, BTW), we had to bring the party to him.

especially since our hometeam took the game.

here's dad not letting the hospital gown stop his good time.

plus my baby made some bomb-a chili chip dip.

my 10-yr-old romantic rival

meet seth aaron, he's got a thing for my wife.

mind you it's a completely innocent schoolboy crush.

at the recent family wedding, he discovered his happy place.

he asked monica to dance and when she acquiesced you would have thought that he had just tasted chocolate and peanut butter together for the first time.

with a grin from ear to ear, he maneuevered her from one edge of the dance floor to the other.

whenever he saw someone he knew, you and old alike, he shouted for their attention and just beamed as if to telepathically communicate, "look at me i'm dancing with a pretty girl."

here they are together with the roses that he swiped from one of the brides bouquets (one for her to remember the occasion and one for himself).

i guess i gotta kick up my game a notch.

aaron and lindsey sittin' in a tree

so my cousin, aaron, recently got married to a classy chick named lindsey.

researchers are still working on a theory as to how this can actually happen in the real world.

but until that paper is published, please to enjoy the following pics...

charlie and amber (brother-in-law and sister of the groom) at rehearsal

bride and father at rehearsal

the wedding talk

my hot wife and very caucasian father doing, you guessed it, the electric slide.

megan and her new beau, greg. (i must admit i rather enjoyed interrogating him on whether or not he was worthy of the little girl that i used to babysit.)

i can't remember what mom said that made them laugh but this is pretty much exactly what i see after i come home from work and my wife and mother have spent the day together.

the married couple

my cousin raven (best lady) and some dude whom keeps hanging around claiming to be her husband.

beware of intense, deep conversations around uncle ronny and benji. this is pretty much every family gathering.

this is my new favorite picture of mom and dad (doing the twist)

dad dancing with his most favorite daughter-in-law

grandma, mom and dad, me and my bride

we bought a coat for grandma recently, here she is modeling it.

and now, because no one asked for it...

the chicken dance!

(watch for my cousin preston eschewing the dance circle and jade's distaste for the audio levels.)
