last night we were watching some old home movies that monica's family had taken during a trip out west when she was 17.
lauran had the camera in one scene and was narrating her own videography.
when she got to a particular object, she made some sarcastic remark that must have been funny to her 14-year-old self.
as we were watching it, monica heard the attempt at humor and observed, "that was a dumb joke."
just then, monica's 17-year-old voice came over the tv speakers and from ten years ago, while off camera, she chimed in, "that was a dumb joke, lauran."
oh, my wife.
at the very least, she's consistent.
