lately leo the animator has been giving the four designers on our team at work a hard time about our mac computers.
he is strictly pc-based while we designers are mac-based.
the g4s in the office have been having difficulties recently that stem from the age of the machines as well as abuse by previous users.
this lead to a debate that lasted for no less than two hours.
leo blamed the machines and contended that if we were all on pcs we wouldn't be having any of these issues.
we mac users argued the overall stability, ease of use and security of the platform.
when he suggested that we would be better off converting to all pcs, we countered that he should bite the bullet and switch to a mac.
"conform to the standards of your peers!" i shouted at one point.
but he would not budge.
the more he argued the more irritated he would become.
so naturally, we prodded him some more.
this finally culminated in us taping dozens of tiny apple logos in his cubicle.
quoting bugs bunny, leo said, "of course you realize, this means war."
